Recruitment Consultant (12-Week Temporary Opportunity) Location: Daventry (CV23 8YH) Pay rate: £16.46 per hour (inclusive of £1.77 holiday pay) Working hours: Monday to Friday | 9am - 5pm | 36 hours per week Start date: 21st September, 2026

About the role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Consultant to join a busy Retail Recruitment Hub based at a leading Distribution Centre in Daventry. Working as part of a wider resourcing team, you will play a key role in attracting and recruiting exceptional candidates across multiple retail locations. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you will work closely with hiring managers and support the full recruitment lifecycle. Working pattern
- First 2-3 weeks: Office-based, Monday to Friday
- Following training: Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
- Applicants must be available to attend work during the first 6 weeks of employment
- Occasional weekend work may be required
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a variety of retail vacancies
- Build strong relationships with store hiring managers and provide regular recruitment updates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews
- Manage candidate offers and onboarding activity
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Identify recruitment challenges and proactively implement solutions to improve attraction and hiring outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider resourcing team Full training will be provided. What we're looking for
- Minimum 6 months' experience within a customer service or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable learning and using a variety of systems and technology platforms
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
