You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts. The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits. Key Responsibilities – Refrigeration Engineer Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements. To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures. Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures. To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM. Qualifications & Experience – Refrigeration Engineer Minimum 3-years refrigeration experience on commercial / refrigeration Hydrocarbon (Training will be provided) CO2 refrigeration training / certification (Training will be provided) IPAF 3a,b MEWPS training (Training will be provided) Electrical Fault Finding / Wiring Reg (18th Edition) On Offer – Refrigeration Engineer OTE £60,000 (based on typical engineer earnings over the last 12 months) 40 hour working week, overtime payable for time over contracted hours Planned on-call rota 1 in 4 weeks (hours of work paid in addition to standby payment) 25 days + 8 bank holidays Travel time after ½ hour each way Van, fuel card, tools, uniform, IT equipment provided For more information on this role, please contact Nick Sollis on or send a copy of your CV to Omega Resource Group is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Construction and Manufacturing sectors.
