About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join their essential Installation & Maintenance team based in Liverpool . This role is crucial for the installation, servicing, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that refrigeration units operate efficiently and reliably, providing technical expertise and hands-on support to a diverse range of clients. This position requires a strong understanding of refrigeration principles and a dedication to maintaining high standards of work, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the Liverpool area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including chillers, freezers, and cold rooms.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex refrigeration issues, identifying root causes of problems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and services to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
- Handle refrigerants safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in handling refrigerants and using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Relevant certifications in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., F-Gas certification).
- Good physical condition, capable of working in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, essential for representing our client in Liverpool .
