Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair a variety of commercial and industrial refrigeration units and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics to prevent system failures and optimize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex refrigeration issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensure all work adheres to F-Gas regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and inventory of parts and equipment.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding their refrigeration systems.
Requirements
- Relevant certification in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).
- F-Gas Category 1 certification is essential.
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer, ideally within commercial or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, compressor technologies, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for fault finding.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel to client sites.
