Refrigeration Engineer
Location: Kent/Southeast
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary
We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a busy and established engineering team. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, attending breakdowns and completing repairs across a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems.
Key Refrigeration Engineer Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance
- Responding to cabinet and refrigeration pack breakdowns
- Completing compressor replacements
- Fault-finding across commercial refrigeration systems
- Monitoring RDM network systems within stores
- Repairing integral refrigeration cabinets
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical control panels
- Repairing commercial air-conditioning systems
- Attending emergency call-outs
- Checking and adjusting refrigeration controller settings
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or relevant experience).
- F-Gas Category 1
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
