Refrigeration Engineer (Install Bias)

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

About the Role

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer with an installation bias to join our expanding team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer looking for a long-term role with excellent earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across retail and hospitality sites.
• Diagnose and repair faults on display cabinets, cold rooms, and pack systems.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.
• Complete electronic job reports accurately.
• Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in 6).

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Refrigeration Engineer working on commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Good knowledge of remote packs and control systems such as Danfoss and Carel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Professional, customer-focused approach.
