Refuse Worker / Loader Vacancies – Bedford
Location: Bedford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
Break: 30-minute unpaid break
Pay: Excellent rates available
We are currently recruiting Refuse Workers / Loaders to join a busy waste management team in Bedford.

Refuse Driver Rates
✅ Basic Rate: £17.01 per hour
✅ Overtime (after 42.5 hours): £25.52 per hour
✅ Sundays & Bank Holidays: £34.02 per hour
Refuse Loader Rates
✅ Basic Rate: £12.71 per hour
✅ Overtime (after 42.5 hours): £19.06 per hour
✅ Sundays & Bank Holidays: £25.42 per hour
Duties Include:
Collecting household and commercial waste
Working as part of a refuse collection team
Loading bins and waste materials safely
Following health & safety procedures
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements:
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Good attitude and strong work ethic
Previous waste/recycling experience desirable but not essential
Based in Bedford
Competitive hourly pay
