Regional EHS Manager – Connacht €90,000 + Package Location: Connacht, Ireland Sector: Construction / Engineering / Infrastructure Employment: Full-Time
A leading engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Regional EHS Manager to oversee Environmental, Health & Safety performance across projects in the Connacht region.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational teams across multiple construction and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional EHS strategy across multiple project sites
- Ensure compliance with Irish safety legislation and company standards
- Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Support project teams in implementing safe systems of work
- Promote a strong behavioural safety culture
- Deliver EHS training and awareness programmes
- Monitor project safety performance and reporting metrics
- Work closely with senior management and operational teams
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Health & Safety / Environmental discipline
- Experience in construction, engineering, or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of Irish H&S legislation
- Proven leadership experience across multi-site operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
