Regional Property Manager

About the Role

Our client, a substantial property investment and management firm with a growing portfolio across East Anglia, is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Property Manager to oversee operations in and around Norwich . This senior role involves managing a team, ensuring the operational efficiency of a large portfolio of residential and commercial properties, and driving tenant satisfaction and profitability. You will be responsible for budget management, compliance, and implementing best practices across all managed properties, contributing significantly to the company's regional expansion goals. This is a leadership role for a dedicated professional with a strong background in property management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of properties across the designated region.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of property managers and site staff to achieve high performance.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Ensure all properties comply with health and safety regulations, licensing, and other legal requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular property inspections and oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.

Requirements

• Significant experience (7+ years) in property management, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of managing large portfolios and leading teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of property management software, financial reporting, and landlord/tenant legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives for portfolio growth and performance.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, IRPM) are highly desirable.
