About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and accomplished Regional Sales Director to lead their sales operations for healthcare technology solutions across the Reading region and surrounding territories. This senior leadership position involves developing and executing high-level sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and building key relationships with healthcare providers and administrators. You will be instrumental in driving significant revenue growth and market penetration for innovative healthcare solutions. This is a hybrid role, requiring travel and presence in key client locations while leveraging remote capabilities for strategic planning and team management within the Reading area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ambitious sales strategies to achieve regional revenue targets for healthcare technology .
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional sales team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations.
- Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and develop strategic plans for regional expansion.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, ensuring effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in sales leadership within the healthcare technology or medical device industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and exceeding regional revenue goals.
- Deep understanding of the UK healthcare system and procurement processes.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong network of contacts within the healthcare sector in the Reading region is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
