Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Regional Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts across Scotland, based out of Edinburgh or Glasgow . This leadership role involves managing a team of sales professionals, setting performance goals, and driving overall regional revenue growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, coaching and mentoring your team, and ensuring alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong understanding of the Scottish market and a passion for sales excellence, contributing to the company's success across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of regional sales representatives.
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed regional targets.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Recruit, train, and develop sales talent within the region.
• Foster strong relationships with key clients and partners across Scotland.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role.
• Proven ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Excellent understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
