Job Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home in Lancashire.

Salary & Benefits
* Salary of £55,000 - £63,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, registration history, and home size
* Ofsted Bonus of up to £3,000 per year

The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the day-to-day operation of the children's home
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people
* Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing staff team
* Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation, and company policies
* Managing staff performance, quality assurance, and continuous service improvement
* Building positive relationships with children, families, social workers, and external professionals
* Driving the home towards Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes

About You
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential EBD setting
* Previous leadership or management experience within a children's home
* Experience of Ofsted registrations, inspections, or both
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, children's legislation, and Ofsted regulations
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
* Hold or be willing to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available)
Desirable
* 5+ years' experience within children's residential care
* Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
* Proven track record of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings
