Rehabilitation Practitioner

With the development of our therapy services, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people with experience in Occupational Therapy and/or Physiotherapy to join our dynamic community rehabilitation teams at Petersfield & Bordon.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care and rehabilitation. You will use your skills and experience to support the provision of individualised rehabilitation programmes to patients with a range of functional and rehabilitative needs.

The post holder will assume responsibility for delegated aspects of healthcare delivery, working within a scope of practice under the direction/supervision of a registered practitioner.

You will have a clear understanding of patients with long term conditions and should be able to demonstrate a level clinical assessment and reasoning. Previous case holding experience and group work is desirable.

You will need to be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to be confident and assertive with excellent personal skills and have the ability to demonstrate these in a pressurised environment. The successful applicant will need to have proficient IT skills.

Access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving license is essential.

There are CPD opportunities that support development of clinical skills as well as structured supervision, peer support groups and appraisals.
