About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Reliability Engineer to join their advanced manufacturing and R&D operations in Bristol . This critical role focuses on ensuring the optimal performance, uptime, and longevity of mechanical systems and equipment. You will employ statistical methods, root cause analysis, and predictive maintenance techniques to identify potential failures and implement strategies to enhance system reliability. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to drive improvements in operational efficiency and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies and programs.
- Analyze failure data, perform root cause analysis (RCA) , and identify systemic issues affecting equipment reliability.
- Utilize predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
- Develop and maintain reliability models and metrics (e.g., MTBF, MTTR) to track performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement design modifications and process improvements.
- Provide technical expertise and training on reliability best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering principles , statistical analysis, and FMEA/RCM methodologies.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
