Remote 5G Network Deployment Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and deploy 5G radio access network (RAN) and core network components.
• Perform site verification, integration testing, and acceptance testing for new 5G deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during network deployment and operation.
• Collaborate with vendors, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed deployment documentation, including network diagrams and configuration guides.
• Stay abreast of the latest 5G technologies, standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile network deployment, specifically with 4G LTE and 5G technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of 5G NR, core network architecture (SA and NSA), and related protocols.
• Experience with network planning tools, configuration management, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) as applied to telecom networks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent remote communication abilities.
