About the Role

Our client is seeking a supportive and knowledgeable Remote Academic Advisor to guide students through their academic journeys from anywhere in the UK. In this fully remote position, you will provide personalized academic counseling, assist students in course selection, monitor their progress, and help them navigate institutional policies and resources. The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at building rapport with students virtually. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one academic advising to a caseload of students via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Assist students in developing personalized academic plans aligned with their career goals and program requirements.
• Monitor student academic performance and intervene proactively to offer support and resources.
• Educate students on institutional policies, procedures, and available support services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in the advising system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Previous experience in academic advising, student support, or counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using student information systems and virtual communication tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
