About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Remote Acquisitions Manager to drive their property acquisition strategy across the United Kingdom. This pivotal role involves identifying, negotiating, and securing strategic property deals that align with the company's investment objectives. Working entirely remotely, you will leverage your extensive network and market knowledge to source off-market opportunities and evaluate potential acquisitions through rigorous financial analysis and due diligence. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the company's portfolio growth, working autonomously from anywhere while collaborating closely with senior leadership and deal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify potential property acquisition opportunities across the UK, focusing on off-market deals.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including pro forma underwriting, cash-on-cash returns, and IRR calculations for potential acquisitions.
- Lead negotiations with sellers, agents, and legal counsel to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Manage the entire acquisition process from initial contact through to closing, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform thorough due diligence, including market research, site visits (where necessary and feasible), and risk assessment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the property industry to enhance deal flow and market intelligence.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in property acquisitions, preferably within a UK context.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing real estate deals, with a strong track record of financial performance.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and financial modelling skills.
- Extensive network of contacts within the property development and investment community.
- Proficiency with real estate valuation methods and due diligence processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote capacity.
