Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various agricultural sources, including sensors, satellite imagery, and farm management systems.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze crop yields, soil health, weather patterns, and pest/disease outbreaks.
• Create clear and concise reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators and define data requirements for new projects.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in agricultural data science and analytics.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security throughout the analysis lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with exposure to the agriculture or forestry industries .
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting .
