Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze crop performance, soil health, and resource utilization.
• Generate regular reports and visualizations that clearly communicate findings and actionable insights to farm managers and executive leadership.
• Identify trends and anomalies in data to predict potential issues, such as pest outbreaks or nutrient deficiencies, and recommend proactive measures.
• Collaborate with agronomy and farm operations teams to implement data-driven strategies and evaluate their impact.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in agricultural data analysis and contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on statistical analysis and data modeling.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy), or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create clear and informative dashboards.
• Understanding of agricultural principles, practices, and data types is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Agriculture, or a related quantitative field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
