About the Role

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Remote Agronomist Consultant to provide expert advice and support to farmers across various regions, all managed remotely. In this virtual role, you will leverage your deep understanding of soil science, crop physiology, and integrated pest management to guide clients in optimizing their agricultural practices for increased yield, improved soil health, and environmental sustainability. You will work independently, utilizing digital tools and communication platforms to deliver tailored recommendations and foster strong client relationships, contributing to the advancement of modern, data-driven agriculture from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote expert advice on soil analysis , nutrient management, and crop health.
• Develop customized agronomic plans and recommendations for clients via virtual consultations.
• Analyze field data , weather patterns, and satellite imagery to inform strategic agricultural decisions.
• Advise on sustainable farming practices, including cover cropping, reduced tillage, and organic pest control.
• Stay current with the latest research, technologies, and regulatory changes in agronomy .
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, recommendations, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Science, or a related agricultural field.
• Demonstrated experience in crop consulting or agronomic advisory services.
• Proficiency with agricultural software, data analysis tools, and remote collaboration platforms.
• Strong understanding of plant pathology and entomology.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a remote client portfolio effectively.
