About the Role

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and forward-thinking Remote Agronomist Specialist to join their dynamic agricultural consultancy team. Operating remotely from Coventry , you will provide expert advice and technical support to a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK, focusing on optimizing crop yields, improving soil health, and promoting sustainable farming practices. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual farm assessments and provide tailored recommendations on crop management, soil fertility, and pest/disease control.
• Develop and implement precision agriculture strategies using data analysis and digital tools.
• Advise clients on the latest advancements in agronomy, sustainable practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings and recommendations to clients via online platforms.
• Collaborate with internal research and development teams to contribute to the company's knowledge base and service offerings.
• Stay abreast of market trends, new technologies, and best practices in the agriculture industry .

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience as an Agronomist, with a strong understanding of UK farming systems.
• Demonstrated experience with data analysis and digital farming tools, including GIS and remote sensing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills, with the ability to effectively engage remotely.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload of diverse clients.
• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., BASIS, FACTS) is highly desirable.
