About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote AI Data Engineer to join their distributed team and build the robust data pipelines that power their advanced artificial intelligence initiatives. Working from any suitable location, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure to support machine learning models and analytics. This role involves collecting, cleaning, transforming, and managing large datasets, ensuring data quality and accessibility for data scientists and AI engineers. You will play a critical role in enabling data-driven insights and innovations within a collaborative, remote-first environment, supporting the company's commitment to leveraging AI effectively across its operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for AI/ML applications.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing routines for large datasets.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to understand data requirements and provide optimized data solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering , with a focus on building data infrastructure for AI/ML.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka).
- Strong understanding of data governance and data management best practices.
