Remote AI Ethics Specialist

About the Role

Our client is a leader in responsible Artificial Intelligence development and is looking for a dedicated AI Ethics Specialist to join their global team, working entirely remotely. This critical role will focus on establishing and enforcing ethical guidelines for AI development and deployment, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability in our AI systems. You will play a key part in shaping our company's approach to AI ethics, collaborating with diverse teams across the organization to embed ethical considerations into every stage of the AI lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive AI ethics policies and frameworks.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for new AI projects and existing systems.
• Advise AI development teams on best practices for fairness, accountability, and transparency (FAT ) in AI.
• Monitor regulatory and industry developments in AI ethics and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to raise awareness and build capacity in AI ethics across the organization.
• Investigate and address ethical concerns related to AI systems, collaborating with legal, policy, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Social Sciences, or a related field, with a specialization in technology ethics.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing ethical guidelines or frameworks, preferably in a technology context.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts , machine learning, and their ethical implications (e.g., bias, privacy, accountability).
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in AI governance and data privacy.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment .
