Remote AI Platform Engineer

About the Role

Our client is building the next generation of Artificial Intelligence infrastructure and is looking for a skilled AI Platform Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the robust, scalable platform that powers our AI research and development efforts. This role involves working with cutting-edge cloud technologies, MLOps tools, and distributed systems to ensure our AI teams have the resources they need to innovate efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, primarily in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and AI applications.
• Implement and automate MLOps best practices, including model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Work with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AI platform performance and availability.
• Contribute to the selection and integration of new technologies and tools for the AI platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering (SRE).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and concepts (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, model registries).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working effectively in a remote, distributed team .
