About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote Aircraft Maintenance Planning Specialist to join their distributed operations team. This role is crucial for ensuring the continued airworthiness and operational readiness of a fleet of aircraft, managing maintenance schedules and optimizing resource allocation from a remote location. You will leverage your expertise in aviation regulations and maintenance practices to develop, implement, and oversee effective maintenance programs. This position offers the unique advantage of performing essential aviation operations work entirely from home, contributing to fleet reliability and safety on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive aircraft maintenance planning programs in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA Part-M, FAA Part 145).
• Create and optimize detailed maintenance schedules for the assigned aircraft fleet, considering component life limits, inspections, and modifications.
• Coordinate with maintenance providers, engineering teams, and operations to ensure timely execution of planned maintenance tasks.
• Monitor aircraft status, track maintenance requirements, and ensure compliance with all mandatory Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs).
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, component history, and compliance documentation within the fleet management system.
• Utilize specialized software for maintenance planning and tracking to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning, engineering, or operations.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance and airworthiness.
• Proficiency with fleet management software (e.g., AMOS, Trax, Coruson) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting .
