About the Role

Our client is searching for a creative and user-centric individual to join them as a Remote Apprentice UX/UI Designer , working from anywhere within the UK with ties to their Oxford base. You will receive comprehensive training in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design, contributing to real-world product development. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting user research and gathering feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
• Develop visual design concepts, including color palettes, typography, and iconography.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers virtually to translate requirements into user-friendly designs.
• Participate in design reviews and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Help maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing design projects (academic or personal) demonstrating creativity and an understanding of UX/UI principles.
• A keen interest in user experience, digital design, and product development.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively in a remote team.
• Strong visual design skills and a good eye for detail and aesthetics.
