About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Athlete Relations Manager to serve as a key liaison between the organisation and its sponsored athletes. This fully remote role is crucial for ensuring athletes receive the support they need, fostering strong relationships, and managing communication channels effectively. You will be instrumental in supporting athlete well-being, navigating contractual obligations, and ensuring a positive experience for every athlete associated with the brand, all while working flexibly from your chosen location near Plymouth .
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sponsored athletes, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with athletes and their representatives.
- Manage communication regarding contracts, appearances, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistical support for athletes, including travel arrangements and event participation.
- Monitor athlete performance and engagement, providing feedback and support for their career development.
- Ensure athletes adhere to brand guidelines and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Experience in athlete management, sports marketing, or a related client-facing role.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A strong understanding of the professional sports landscape and athlete needs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote setting.
