About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to join their dedicated security team. You will analyze security vulnerabilities, develop defensive strategies, and respond to security incidents across a wide range of automotive platforms and software. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor automotive networks and systems for security threats and anomalies, using various security tools and platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive software, hardware, and connected services.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for automotive cybersecurity.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, performing forensic analysis and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends specific to the automotive industry.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate security requirements into the vehicle development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on automotive or IoT security.
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and security protocols (e.g., TLS, IPsec).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet) and security considerations.
• Experience with security analysis tools and incident response methodologies.
