About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and skilled Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster their vehicle security efforts. Operating remotely, you will be at the forefront of protecting connected vehicles from evolving cyber threats. Your role will involve analyzing potential vulnerabilities, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring the integrity and safety of vehicle software and communication systems. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on vehicle ECUs, networks, and connected services.
• Analyze threat intelligence and vulnerability reports to identify potential risks to automotive systems.
• Develop and implement security controls and best practices throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.
• Monitor vehicle networks for anomalous activity and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures into software and hardware designs.
• Document security findings, risks, and remediation recommendations clearly and concisely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on automotive or embedded systems security.
• Knowledge of common automotive cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations relevant to the automotive industry (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155).
• Experience with security analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for remote collaboration.
