About the Role

This role involves protecting connected vehicles and their associated systems from cyber threats. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity strategies and solutions for automotive electronic control units (ECUs), in-vehicle networks, and cloud-based services. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and architectures for automotive systems, including ECUs, V2X communication, and infotainment.
• Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing on automotive components and software.
• Design and integrate security controls to protect against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434).
• Monitor security alerts, investigate security incidents, and develop incident response plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to the automotive industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in automotive cybersecurity or embedded systems security.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Automotive Ethernet) and their security vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155).
• Experience with security tools for analysis, testing, and monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively and independently in a remote environment.
