About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join their team, contributing to insights derived from vehicle performance and customer data. This role, operating from anywhere in the UK, will involve collecting, processing, and analyzing vast datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive product development and business strategy. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to translate complex data into clear, concise recommendations, supporting the continuous improvement of automotive products and services in a remote-first setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and structure large datasets from various automotive sources, including vehicle telemetry and customer feedback.
• Perform statistical analysis and develop predictive models to identify trends, forecast future performance, and uncover key insights.
• Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards business objectives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection and analysis methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the automotive industry or a data-intensive field.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
