About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join their growing business intelligence team. This role, supporting operations in Nottingham and globally, is fully remote and focuses on extracting valuable insights from large datasets related to vehicle performance, customer behavior, and market trends. You will be instrumental in informing strategic decisions, optimizing product development, and enhancing customer experiences. The ideal candidate is proficient in data manipulation and visualization tools, possesses a strong understanding of the automotive industry, and excels in a remote collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various automotive sources.
• Analyze data to identify key trends, patterns, and insights related to vehicle performance, sales, customer satisfaction, and market dynamics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast trends and support decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , with a focus on the automotive industry or a strong understanding of automotive data.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and experience with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.
• Skilled in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
