About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join their expanding operations. This position is essential for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of automotive data to drive strategic business decisions and product improvements. Working from home, you will play a key role in understanding vehicle performance, customer behaviour, and market trends, translating complex data into actionable insights for various departments. We are looking for a self-starter who can manage their workload effectively in a fully remote setting and contribute significantly to the company's data-driven approach to automotive excellence, based anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various automotive sources, including vehicle telematics, manufacturing, and sales.
• Perform statistical analysis and create insightful reports and visualizations to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using BI tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to vehicle performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and data quality enhancements.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a remote context.
