About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join their expanding operations team. This position is fully remote , offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets related to vehicle performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of the automotive industry, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders in Plymouth and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process automotive data from various sources.
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Interpret data findings and provide clear, concise recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all analyses.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , with a focus on the automotive sector preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
