Remote Automotive Electronics Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Remote Automotive Electronics Engineer to join their innovative product development team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to the design and implementation of state-of-the-art electronic systems for next-generation vehicles from your home. You will be involved in all phases of the electronics lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and validation. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and related circuits.
• Specify electronic components and ensure their compatibility with system requirements.
• Create and review schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Perform system-level integration and testing of electronic modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues encountered during development and validation.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and system architects to ensure seamless integration of electronic and software components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in designing automotive electronic hardware.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and power electronics.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
