About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Automotive Quality Inspector to join their global team, with opportunities for individuals based near Belfast to contribute remotely. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality in automotive components and systems through remote assessment and analysis. You will review data, specifications, and reports to identify deviations from quality benchmarks and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement corrective actions. This position is ideal for a quality professional who can meticulously assess automotive standards from a distance, driving continuous improvement across production lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote inspections and audits of automotive parts and manufacturing processes based on provided documentation and data.
- Analyze quality control reports, test results, and production data to identify potential defects or non-compliance issues.
- Liaise with manufacturing facilities and engineering departments to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and resolutions, contributing to the company's quality management system.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive quality control or assurance.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and relevant automotive standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test reports.
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail for remote assessment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a virtual team environment.
