About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Remote Automotive Software Developer to join their expanding technology division. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust software components for automotive applications using C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, in a virtual environment.
• Develop and integrate software for embedded systems, focusing on real-time performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to improving software development processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring high-quality and stable product releases.
• Contribute to the development of simulation and testing frameworks for automotive software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in software development , with a strong understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Python, with experience in automotive software standards (e.g., AUTOSAR) being a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting .
