About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Remote Automotive Software Engineer specializing in Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software modules for ADAS features, including sensor fusion, path planning, and control algorithms.
- Write robust, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements and system integration strategies.
- Perform rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and validation of software components in simulation and on target hardware.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools within a remote-first agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in automotive software development , with a focus on ADAS or autonomous driving systems.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, including object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, CMake, and Agile/Scrum.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote team setting.
