About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and innovative Remote Automotive Software Engineer to join their cutting-edge development team. You will be instrumental in developing sophisticated software solutions for next-generation vehicles, focusing on areas such as infotainment systems, driver assistance technologies, and vehicle connectivity. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software for automotive applications using C/C++ and other relevant languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and product managers, in a virtual setting.
- Develop and optimize software for real-time performance and resource efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software issues.
- Contribute to the definition and architecture of new automotive software features and systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automotive software engineering .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably within the automotive industry .
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and experience with embedded systems.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Agile).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
