Remote Automotive Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain software for automotive embedded systems using C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Design and integrate software modules for infotainment, telematics, and ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) features.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, in a virtual setting.
• Perform code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and ensure software quality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported from testing or field deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, with a focus on automotive applications.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python, with experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
• Experience with software development tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
