About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automotive Systems Integration Engineer to join their forward-thinking engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage system requirements for complex automotive vehicle architectures, ensuring interoperability.
• Oversee the integration of various vehicle subsystems (e.g., powertrain control, ADAS, thermal management) to meet overall vehicle performance targets.
• Develop and execute system integration test plans, identify integration issues, and manage their resolution.
• Collaborate with subsystem engineers to ensure seamless communication and data exchange between different vehicle domains.
• Create and maintain system architecture documentation, including interfaces and data flow diagrams.
• Contribute to the development of virtual integration strategies and tools to facilitate efficient remote development and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive systems engineering and integration.
• Strong understanding of automotive vehicle architectures and key subsystems.
• Experience with system integration methodologies, requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS), and simulation environments.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, vital for success in a fully remote team environment.
