About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proficient Remote Aviation Data Analyst to join their team, working remotely from anywhere in the UK. This role is critical in transforming vast amounts of aviation data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency, safety improvements, and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets related to flight operations, maintenance, and safety performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong statistical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of the aviation domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from various aviation sources, including flight operations, maintenance logs, and safety reports.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in aviation data, providing key insights into operational performance and safety risks.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
• Collaborate with operational teams, safety managers, and engineers to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Contribute to the development of predictive models and algorithms to forecast operational performance and identify potential safety concerns.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the analysis process, adhering to data privacy and security protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , with a strong focus on quantitative analysis and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), R, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, with the ability to apply them to real-world problems.
• Experience working with large datasets and managing data pipelines.
• Knowledge of the aviation industry , operations, or safety management systems is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
