About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous and proactive Remote Aviation Safety Analyst to join their dedicated safety management team, operating entirely remotely across the UK. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the safety culture and operational integrity of the aviation sector. You will be responsible for analysing safety data, identifying trends, investigating incidents, and developing strategies to mitigate risks, all while working from your home office and collaborating with a geographically dispersed team dedicated to flight safety excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse, and interpret aviation safety data, including incident reports, audit findings, and safety surveys.
- Identify safety hazards and risk factors across various aviation operations and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into aviation safety incidents and occurrences, determining root causes and contributing factors.
- Develop and implement safety management system (SMS) initiatives and promote a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
- Prepare detailed safety reports and presentations for management, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders, all managed within a remote framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in aviation safety analysis, risk management, or incident investigation.
- Strong understanding of safety management systems (SMS) principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with excellent report writing skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote working environment, with strong digital communication skills.
