About the Role
Our client is actively searching for a meticulous and analytical Remote Aviation Safety Analyst to join their expanding safety department. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting safety data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and enhance the overall safety performance of aviation operations. This is a critical position focused on proactive safety management and continuous improvement, supporting a culture where safety is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze aviation safety data from various sources, including incident reports and operational metrics.
- Identify potential safety hazards and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into safety occurrences and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed safety reports and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safety management systems (SMS).
- Stay abreast of aviation safety regulations, best practices, and emerging trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in aviation safety analysis or a related field.
- Strong understanding of aviation safety principles, risk management, and accident investigation techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in using safety data analysis software and standard office applications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations.
- A degree in aviation management, safety science, or a related discipline is preferred for this remote role.
