Remote Aviation Safety Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Aviation Safety Specialist to join their global safety management team. This fully remote position allows you to contribute to enhancing safety protocols and standards across the organization without the need for physical office presence. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety initiatives, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a proactive safety culture. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a deep understanding of aviation safety regulations and best practices, capable of working effectively independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive aviation safety management systems (SMS) across the organization.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify potential safety deficiencies.
• Investigate safety occurrences and incidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Monitor aviation regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance with all applicable safety standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication, engagement, and leadership.
• Maintain safety records and documentation, providing regular reports to senior management on safety performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety, risk management, or a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA) and safety management principles.
• Experience in conducting safety investigations and hazard identification is essential.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
