About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and experienced Aviation Security Specialist to join their fully remote team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies to protect assets, personnel, and operations within the aviation sector. You will work from home, analyzing threats, developing protocols, and ensuring compliance with national and international aviation security regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of security principles and a proactive approach to risk management in a dynamic environment, contributing to the safety and integrity of aviation operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust aviation security policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of aviation facilities and operations.
• Oversee the implementation of security measures, including access control, surveillance, and screening protocols.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable national and international aviation security regulations (e.g., TSA, ICAO standards).
• Investigate security incidents and breaches, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide security training and awareness programs to staff across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in aviation security or a related security management role.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation security principles, threat assessment, and risk management.
• Familiarity with relevant security technologies and systems.
• Strong understanding of international and national aviation security regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage projects remotely.
