Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement embedded software for avionics systems, adhering to strict safety and performance standards.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code, primarily in C/C++.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing of avionics software.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and systems engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, peer testing, and root cause analysis of software defects.
• Ensure software compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, with a significant portion in avionics or aerospace.
• Strong programming skills in C and C++, with experience in real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Understanding of avionics architectures and communication protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, AFDX).
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and associated tools.
• Proficiency in debugging and testing complex embedded systems.
