Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote BIM Coordinator to join their forward-thinking construction firm, contributing to projects across the UK from a remote setting. This role is essential for managing and coordinating Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating seamless collaboration among project stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing BIM standards, managing model quality, and supporting the project teams with all aspects of BIM implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM execution plans and protocols across various construction projects.
- Coordinate the creation and management of 3D models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution processes, working with design and construction teams to identify and address potential conflicts.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and workflows, promoting best practices.
- Manage and organize BIM project data, ensuring efficient sharing and accessibility for all authorized users.
- Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to integrate their models and data into the central project model.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM-focused role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of BIM methodologies , standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and workflows.
- Proficiency with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related platforms.
- Experience with clash detection software and techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
