Remote BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote BIM Coordinator to join their distributed team. This role is crucial for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various projects, ensuring data integrity and adherence to BIM standards. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage BIM models and federated models for multiple projects.
• Implement and enforce company and project-specific BIM standards and protocols.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve model conflicts using Navisworks or similar software.
• Generate reports on model progress, quality, and compliance.
• Assist project teams with BIM software usage and best practices.
• Maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensure its execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar BIM role.
• Strong knowledge of BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of the BIM lifecycle and its application in different project phases.
• Familiarity with various industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote working environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
