About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and meticulous Remote Blockchain Security Analyst to join their globally distributed team, based remotely but with an operational hub in Sunderland . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks across various blockchain platforms and decentralized applications. You will play a vital part in safeguarding our client's digital assets and maintaining the integrity of their blockchain infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Identify and analyze potential security vulnerabilities, exploits, and threats within the blockchain ecosystem.
• Develop and implement security monitoring tools and strategies to detect suspicious activities.
• Investigate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and recommend remediation actions.
• Provide expert advice on blockchain security best practices and risk management to development teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, or similar role, with a focus on blockchain technology .
• Strong understanding of blockchain principles, cryptography, and smart contract security.
• Proficiency in analyzing smart contract code for vulnerabilities.
• Experience with security tools and methodologies relevant to the blockchain space.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
